Restaurant Herrenmühle in Heidelberg

Joachim Heß, former owner and patron of the well-known restaurant "Goldener Pflug" with a 17-year-streak of a Michelin Star in Heiligkreuzsteinach-Eiterbach, took over the Herrenmühle restaurant in Heidelberg in 2015. With his characteristic style, Mr. Heß has brought to the Herrenmühle a gourmet kitchen style rooted in classic French cuisine. Special attention to the best products and modern interpretations have shaped the cooking style, which can be described in a good sense as "cross over". Be it Mediterranean influences, Asian or Oriental and spices, as well as agricultural products from our region, the result is always a finely-tuned dish on point full of surprising complexity. With the same care, the traditional kitchen is present and consolidated with nuances that emphasize their naturalness and sustainability. Historical documentation proves that the history of the Herrenmühle dates back to the 17th century.
